Every RaceChip product undergoes extensive testing before delivery. From development to production, everything is Made in Germany — which is why RaceChip offers product warranty periods significantly longer than statutory requirements.

If unexpected damage occurs to any covered component, RaceChip will repair the module or supply a replacement at no additional cost.
Quality & Testing
RaceChip products are installed in complex, technologically sophisticated vehicles. Every performance enhancement must be precisely tuned to the engine and its interaction with other components. Only once engine-specific customisation is complete and all tests are passed does a product go on sale.
Power & Torque
Factory power and torque figures are established on the engine test bench, then compared against performance-enhanced values across various test cycles to confirm sufficient tolerances.
Brake System
Brakes are tested for service life, abrasion, functionality, fading, and speed behaviour. Standard factory systems are confirmed to meet all requirements with enhanced output.
Emissions
Emissions are measured in specialist laboratories. The enhancement is designed so factory vehicle classifications almost always remain unchanged. Fuel consumption is tested across city and motorway cycles.
Noise & EMC
Sound levels are measured to confirm idling and driving noise stays within factory conditions. Electromagnetic compatibility testing ensures all legal regulations are met.
Speed & Handling
Maximum attainable speed with the performance increase is determined, and the vehicle is verified to meet all pertinent requirements at that speed.
On-Board Diagnostics
OBD systems are tested and inspected to confirm they are not affected by the performance increase, maintaining full diagnostic capability.
SMART Technology
The latest RaceChip product generation features intelligent integration and monitoring of engine parameters, setting new standards in function and safety.
SMART Warm-Up
Monitors the warm-up process based on coolant or oil temperature and activates tuning only once the engine has reached sufficient operating temperature.
